When Comprehension is the goal of learning, Level 2 provides a higher level of contextualization with recognizable characters, increased scenarios and examples, and a higher degree of visual appeal. Level 2 works well with content that is more complex and critical, and leads to higher learner engagement.
Level 3 provides increased opportunities for Application of new skills and behaviors. Courses provide multiple opportunities to practice behaviors in realistic scenarios and see likely outcomes. These courses are most effective with very complex and critical content, where behavior change is most important.
