We change behavior so strategy delivers results.
For over two decades, PDG has helped life sciences companies close the gap between strategy and business results by focusing on changing behavior in the field.
Start the conversationPerformance is the output of behavior and leadership.
Performance isn't defined by what teams know. It's defined by what they do.
Most companies still treat it as a knowledge problem: run the training, share the strategy, launch the message, and hope execution follows. PDG is built for organizations that want to go beyond knowledge transfer and change what happens in the field.
Results change when behavior changes, and behavior changes when leaders change it. Customer-facing teams shift because leaders set expectations, coach consistently, and hold people accountable.
For over two decades that belief has guided our work in life sciences, and it keeps us focused on one question: what do your customer-facing teams need to do differently, and what will make it stick?
Our leadership
PDG's leaders bring experience across life sciences commercial strategy, enablement, learning, field execution, coaching, and measurement. They understand the realities of customer-facing teams because they have helped organizations build, launch, reinforce, and measure the work those teams depend on.
How to create sustainable behavior change.
Lasting behavior change takes a system, not an event, and ours runs in four phases:
Diagnose
Every engagement starts by finding the real gap, which is rarely where you expect. We look at what your strategy requires, what teams are actually doing, and what that difference may be costing the business. That answer sets the scope of everything after it.
Design
With the gap defined, we build the engagement around the behaviors that close it, in partnership with your leaders. Practice and reinforcement build the habit, and leader coaching is what makes it hold.
Deploy
Change fails in the space between the workshop and the workday, so we work inside the workday: new behaviors into real customer interactions, coaching conversations, and team routines, with reinforcement that outlasts the initial energy.
Measure
We answer two questions: did behavior change, and what did that do to business performance? The answers show where you're winning and where to adjust, and they give stakeholders a credible view of what the investment returned.
How AI is changing the work.
AI is changing what customer-facing teams need to do, how they practice, how leaders coach, and what can be measured. PDG evolves the four-phase method accordingly, while keeping human judgment central.
Your organization has access to more data, and so do your customers. That puts even greater pressure on field teams to deliver value in every interaction. AI can replace many tasks, but it cannot replace human connection. In an AI-enabled world, field behavior becomes more important, not less.
We believe behavior change comes from practice, application, and coaching. AI strengthens all three—providing a partner that is informed, consistent, and tireless. AI is reshaping how field teams prepare for customer conversations.
It can interpret massive datasets, analyze trends across territories, understand HCP preferences, and synthesize field coaching reports to show how new behaviors are being adopted.
AI is a powerful tool in your commercial toolkit. It supports the people doing the work—but it cannot do the work for them.
